Jeddah: Jeddah Yellow emerged victorious in the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) U16 Championship-2025, defeating PISJ-ES by seven wickets in the final at WPCA Grounds, Askan.
PISJ-ES won the toss and opted to bat but struggled against Jeddah Yellow’s disciplined bowling attack, managing 129/8 in 18 overs. Ayaan Parvez top-scored with 38 off 40 balls, while Taha Riaz added 21 off 20. Jeddah Yellow’s bowlers kept the pressure on, with Zayan and Abdullah Khan taking two wickets each, while Hussain, Faez, and Ammar Afzal claimed one wicket apiece.
Chasing 130, Jeddah Yellow showcased a strong batting performance, reaching 131/3 in 15.2 overs. Hussain led the charge with an unbeaten 75 off 51 balls, including 11 boundaries. Abubakr contributed 20 off 12 balls, while Faez added 17 off 19. Despite wickets from Abdullah, Zeeshan, and Zuhair, PISJ-ES bowlers struggled to contain the opposition.
Hussain’s all-round performance earned him the Man of the Final award, while Mirza Omer of PISJ-ES was named Impact Player of the Tournament for his consistent performances.
